Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Security Architect – Operational Technology (OT) to provide architecture guidance and oversight for industrial OT environments. You will support site design reviews, network segmentation validation, secure connectivity planning, and risk-based decisions across engineering, operations, and security teams.

The role emphasizes adherence to OT cybersecurity standards, design patterns, and operational readiness, while enabling secure, scalable, and supportable site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, CS or related field.
• 8–10+ years in cybersecurity, infra, networking, OT, or security architecture.
• 5+ years supporting OT, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, segmentation, and secure connectivity.
• Experience reviewing designs against established architecture standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and risk-based decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply established OT cybersecurity standards to site-level implementations.
• Review OT network, firewall, secure access, monitoring designs for alignment with standards.
• Validate segmentation, zoning, firewall, remote access, monitoring, and operational expectations.
• Participate in design discussions for complex, high-risk OT implementations.
• Partner with engineering and operations to transition approved designs into steady-state support.
• Provide risk assessments, exception reviews, and remediation planning.
• Develop reusable guidance, lessons learned, and implementation patterns.
