Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Security Architect – Operational Technology (OT) to guide site-level architecture, standards adherence, and design validation for industrial environments.

You will provide technical risk advisory, review network segmentation, remote access, and monitoring design choices, and work across cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to ensure secure, supportable OT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 8–10+ years in cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, or security architecture.
• 5+ years supporting OT, manufacturing, industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, segmentation, and secure connectivity.
• Experience reviewing designs against architecture standards and requirements.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and risk-based decision abilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply OT cybersecurity standards and design patterns to site implementations.
• Review OT network, firewall, secure access, monitoring designs for alignment with standards.
• Identify gaps between proposals and architecture requirements; propose remediation.
• Support site architecture reviews for modernization and operational changes.
• Validate segmentation, zoning, firewall, remote access, monitoring, and support expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to transition designs into steady-state support.
• Support risk assessments and exception reviews; document outcomes and actions.
