Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Security Architect – Operational Technology (OT) to provide architecture guidance and technical oversight for industrial environments. This role supports site-level design reviews, network segmentation validation, secure connectivity planning, exception analysis, operational readiness, and risk-based technical decision-making.

The architect works across cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, operations, and site teams to help ensure OT solutions are secure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 8–10+ years in cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, or security architecture.
• 5+ years supporting OT/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, segmentation, secure connectivity, and remote access.
• Experience reviewing designs against established architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply established OT cybersecurity standards to site-level implementations.
• Review OT network, firewall, secure access, and monitoring designs for alignment with standards.
• Identify gaps between proposed implementations and architecture requirements; propose remediation options.
• Support architecture reviews for site implementations and operational changes.
• Validate segmentation and secure connectivity plans and remote access capabilities.
• Provide risk assessments and technical input for non-standard architecture decisions.
• Develop reusable guidance and implementation patterns based on site delivery experience.
