Job summary

ON.energy is hiring a Senior OT/SCADA Network Architect to be the in-house design authority on OT networks for AI data center UPS projects. You will refine and adapt a base network template across sites, becoming the design craft for a growing portfolio of hyperscale data centers.

You will architect segmentation, DMZs, VPNs, and secure remote access while coordinating with IT, cloud teams, and vendors. The role emphasizes resilience, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in network engineering with OT/SCADA exposure.
• Experience designing heavily segmented, multi-zone networks.
• Familiar with industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC UA).
• Strong firewall design and IT/OT separation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Architect the OT network and create base design templates.
• Produce design packages including diagrams and schedules.
• Design site-to-site VPN connectivity and secure remote access.
• Support design reviews, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
• Guide vendor and equipment selection with sizing justifications.
