Job summary
The Consensus is seeking an OS / K8s Systems Engineer in New York to build automation systems that turn raw GPU hardware into production-ready compute. You will manage cluster bring-up, design OS images, and ensure reproducibility across data centers.

Qualifications
- Experience building and operating automated infrastructure systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Deep familiarity with Linux systems including boot processes and performance.
- Experience with provisioning systems and Kubernetes.
- Strong debugging skills across hardware, OS, and network layers.
Responsibilities
- Own the automation of cluster bring-up and lifecycle management.
- Build and maintain OS images and provisioning systems.
- Deploy and operate cluster orchestration platforms.
- Design systems for reproducibility across sites and generations.
- Automate upgrades, rollouts, and failure recovery.
- Optimize system performance and GPU utilization.
