Qualifications

• Two years experience as orthopedic technician.
• One year experience in casting/bracing.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required.
• ROT - Registered Orthopedic Technologist (ASOP) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with reduction of fractures/traction.
• Provide education to patients in proper care of casts/splints.
• Maintain inventory for cast room materials.
• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
