Pfizer in San Diego seeks a cell biology professional to drive organoid product development from tissue receipt to launch readiness. You will culture, expand, and cryopreserve organoid lines, perform quality control, and help scale the portfolio for growing demand.

Responsibilities include characterizing organoids, optimizing workflows, maintaining meticulous records, and collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and product teams to enable successful product launches.

Qualificações

• BS or MS with 3–6+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to execute complex cell-culture projects independently and troubleshoot biological systems.
• Experience with organoids, stem cells, primary cells, or 3D cell-culture systems.
• Experience with cryopreservation, biobanking, cell-based assays, microscopy, or molecular characterization.

Responsabilidades

• Culture, expand, passage, and cryopreserve human organoid lines.
• Execute organoid NPI projects from tissue receipt through launch readiness.
• Perform organoid characterization, quality control, and functional testing.
• Support development and optimization of organoid workflows and media.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and product-management partners to support product launches.
• Contribute to continuous-improvement activities that increase throughput and operational efficiency.
