Job summary

Integrated Data Services (IDS) seeks Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developers to own architecture, development, and performance tuning of Oracle databases for DoD-focused applications.

You will work on complex PL/SQL packages, with opportunities to contribute to Java Spring Boot microservices and modern front-end apps. Strong coding standards and CI/CD integration are essential for this mission-driven role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Oracle SQL/PL/SQL in production environments.
• Strong understanding of Oracle performance tuning tools and techniques.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with Liquibase or Flyway for DB migrations.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes; Java Spring Boot and front-end tech a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/CS/IT; waiver possible with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oracle DB full lifecycle development including modeling, SQL/PLSQL, tuning, testing and production support.
• Design and implement efficient DB solutions for high-volume DoD web apps.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and cross-product changes.
• Develop technical specs from functional/ compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps, designers, and analysts to solve problems.
• Create reusable DB objects with modularity and testability; optimize queries.
