Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL & AWS Data Engineer to join our Plano, TX team on-site. The role emphasizes hands-on database engineering, cloud data processing on AWS, and data integration across platforms.

Ideal candidates have extensive Oracle PL/SQL experience, ETL design skills with Informatica/SSIS/DataStage, and a track record in data retention, archival, and large-scale migrations. Collaboration in Agile, distributed teams, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development and database engineering.
3+ years with AWS data services including AWS RDS Oracle, S3, SQS.
2+ years designing, developing, and supporting ETL/data integration with Informatica, SSIS, DataStage.
5+ years designing enterprise data retention, purge, and archival solutions.
Experience with Apache NiFi for data movement and integration; knowledge of OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
Experience developing cloud-based data processing solutions on AWS.
Experience with large-scale data migration and storage optimization; ability to troubleshoot across environments.
Experience working in Agile teams distributed across locations; strong communication.

Responsibilities

Hands-on design and optimization of Oracle PL/SQL procedures and queries.
Develop and optimize ETL/data integration solutions using Informatica, SSIS, DataStage.
Design and implement data retention, purge, and archival processes.
Develop cloud-based data processing on AWS.
Move and integrate data with Apache NiFi; work with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
Collaborate in Agile teams across locations; engage with stakeholders.
