Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL & AWS Data Engineer to join our Plano, TX team onsite. You will design and optimize Oracle PL/SQL solutions, build AWS-based data pipelines, and collaborate with distributed Agile teams to deliver robust data processing and archival initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Oracle PL/SQL, 3+ years with AWS data services, and hands-on ETL experience (Informatica/SSIS/DataStage).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development and database engineering.
• 3+ years building and tuning Stored Procedures, Packages, and queries; 3+ years with AWS data services (RDS Oracle, S3, SQS).
• 2+ years designing ETL/data integration with Informatica, SSIS, DataStage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IS/CE or related field.
• 5+ years designing enterprise data retention, purge, and archival solutions.
• Experience with Apache NiFi for data movement; knowledge of OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Cloud-based data processing on AWS; large-scale migration and storage optimization.
• Agile teams across multiple locations; strong communication and problem-solving.
• Domain experience in Financial Services; consulting experience and AWS certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle PL/SQL solutions and database engineering tasks.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using AWS services and ETL tools.
• Collaborate with distributed Agile teams to deliver data projects.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production data processing issues.
• Lead data retention and archival initiatives and ensure data quality.
