Job summary

Deloitte United States is seeking an experienced Oracle Payroll Lead - Senior Consultant to join our Project Delivery Model. You will lead on-site client work, provide Tier 2/3 support for Oracle HCM Cloud, and drive continuous improvements in payroll processes.

You will own incident, problem and change management, coordinate updates, mentor junior analysts, and partner with engagement managers to ensure high-quality delivery with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ yrs experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud US Payroll in production.
• Strong understanding of HCM processes and policy translation to configuration.
• Experience leading a support team or AMS/internal model.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and escalation judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel ~10% based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 2/3 application support for Oracle HCM Cloud (Benefits, Payroll).
• Own incident management: triage, prioritization, escalation, SLA adherence.
• Drive problem management: root cause analysis, recurring issues, knowledge base.
• Govern change management: configuration controls, approvals, regression testing, deployment readiness.
• Oversee Oracle updates: review release notes, plan testing, remediation coordination.
• Manage functional configuration areas: processes, workflows, security, validations.
• Mentor and manage support analysts; define on-call coverage; ensure quality.
• Communicate with Engagement Managers, project teams, and client contacts.
