Starry Associates, Inc. is actively recruiting for a "Senior Oracle Hyperion Analyst" to support Hosting, Operations and Maintenance (HOM) services for HIGLAS. This effort includes developing and maintaining a secure and certified architecture to support e- Government initiatives; minimize the CMS security risk and enhance the protection of privacy and security of data; and improve the CMS' ability to accommodate the growing workload.

Summary

Understands multiple and specific module configurations and integration with major functional areas. Translates customer requirements into a best fit within the application and develops processes and documentation that support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Contributes overall strategic vision and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding implementation and support. Provides expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex support problems. Delivers accountabilities in accordance with approved SDLC processes.

Position Type

Remote, prefer candidate able to occasionally attend onsite meetings in Windsor Mill MD.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Build and maintain Hyperion Planning applications, forms, business rules, and workflows.
  • Data Integration: Manage data loads using FDMEE/Data Management; ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Calculations & Scripting: Develop and optimize business rules, calculation scripts, and automation routines.
  • Reporting: Create reports and dashboards using Smart View and Financial Reporting tools.
  • Participates in requirements elicitation and development of User Stories.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements as well as understand and apply the technologies that meet those requirements.
  • Participate in the tracking and management of open issues and assists in planning for resolution.
  • Maintain communications with technical counterparts and end users as progress is made on problem resolution.
  • Review, edit, analyze and create detailed documentation of systems and user needs.
  • Applies ServiceNow Agile methods and templates (e.g., User Stories, Sprints)
  • Provides automated solutions for Resource Management planning where possible
  • Supports pilots, demos, training
  • Configures, tests and deploys Oracle Hyperion
  • Builds data structure for report generation
  • Performs application testing

Job Qualifications

Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years

Education

BS or equivalent + 10 yrs. related experience, or MS + 8 yrs. related experience

  • Strong testing/BA background
  • Oracle Hyperion
  • Outstanding analysis skills, including the ability to critically evaluate requirements and determine best solutions
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to suggest process changes
  • Ability to help develop new business process suggestions
  • Strong communication skills, suggesting customer best practices
  • Agile experience
