Job summary

PCI Federal seeks an experienced System Engineer to lead Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium deployments within the Military Health System. You will shape architecture, drive modernization, and optimize clinical, operational, and administrative workflows across large healthcare environments.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, DoD stakeholders, and program leadership to deliver secure, scalable solutions, mentor junior engineers, and provide strategic guidance on health IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as Systems Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise healthcare environments.
• 5+ years supporting Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) solutions in large-scale settings.
• Experience with DoD/MHS-like environments and interoperability standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level engineering support for Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium within MHS.
• Design, implement, configure, and optimize Oracle Health solutions across clinical, operational, and admin workflows.
• Lead architecture reviews, system modernization, and performance optimization efforts.
• Develop interfaces using HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and web services; ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cybersecurity on RMF/STIG compliance.
