Job summary

The client is an established energy company expanding its Oracle Fusion/Utilities environment. This hands-on role involves development, configuration, integrations, reporting, data activities, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support.

The ideal candidate has deep Oracle Fusion experience in enterprise settings and can work across business and IT teams. Hybrid work arrangements are available with relocation within reasonable commuting distance to Buffalo, NY area; periodical office visits

Qualifications

15+ years of experience supporting enterprise application development, systems analysis, or a related discipline. Utilities/energy/regulated industry experience preferred
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion (Utilities Cloud preferred) or a comparable enterprise ERP platform, including implementations, acquisitions, or major transitions
Professional experience with Oracle CCS (Customer Cloud Service - customer care, service order, metering and billing)
Experience with Oracle Operations & Field Service platforms (WACS / OFS)
Deep experience with enterprise application configuration, extensions, or development
Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; transcripts may be required
Legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion/Utilities applications.
Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts.
Support data conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities.
Collaborate with data engineers and application architects to align solutions with enterprise standards.
Troubleshoot application issues and maintain system reliability.
Participate in system testing, UAT, and post-implementation stabilization.
Document configurations, integrations, and technical designs.
Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners for knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
