Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services in Redmond, WA seeks a Finance Technology professional to join a team delivering Oracle-based finance solutions. You will drive tax integration, lead design sessions, and collaborate across Finance, IT, and Tax stakeholders to implement scalable, compliant controls.

The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12, Oracle Projects, and strong SQL/PLSQL skills, with a track record in full lifecycle implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Projects including Project Accounting, Costing and Billing.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and reporting processes.
• Solid technical knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Interfaces, APIs and Open Interfaces.
• Experience analyzing application logs, troubleshooting technical issues, and partnering with development teams to resolve defects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Vertex Tax integration with Oracle EBS R12, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analyses, and design effective solutions.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on solution delivery.
• Troubleshoot integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications, working closely with development teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in release management, deployment planning, and change control activities.
