Job summary

Hitachi is seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Solutions professional to lead and support EBS R12 Finance modules, GL/AR, and projects. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and IT to deliver compliant, scalable solutions across EBS and Vertex Tax integrations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process optimization, and delivering high-quality financial outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Onsite in Redmond, WA with global impact and ongoing transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 Financials.
• Deep expertise in Oracle GL, AR, and financial accounting processes.
• Strong experience with Oracle Projects (Accounting/Costing/Billing).
• Experience supporting Vertex Tax integration and tax compliance.
• Solid understanding of financial controls and reporting.
• Proficient in SQL/PLSQL, interfaces and Open Interfaces.
• Experience analyzing logs, troubleshooting, and collaborating with developers.
• Led or participated in at least 2-3 full lifecycle Oracle Finance implementations.

Join a collaborative Finance Technology team responsible for supporting and transforming Oracle Finance solutions that drive critical business operations. Our team partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and IT stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions across Oracle EBS R12 Financials, Oracle Projects, and tax platforms. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules, primarily General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Support Oracle Projects modules including Project Accounting, Project Costing, and Project Billing.
• Manage and maintain Vertex Tax integration with Oracle EBS R12, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analyses, and design effective solutions.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, controls, and financial reporting.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on solution delivery.
• Coordinate testing efforts, including system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support Oracle Finance implementation, upgrade, transformation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications, working closely with development teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in release management, deployment planning, and change control activities.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 10-12 years of hands‑on experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 Financials.
• Deep expertise in Oracle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial accounting processes.
• Strong experience with Oracle Projects, including Project Accounting, Project Costing, and Project Billing.
• Proven experience supporting Vertex Tax integration and tax compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Solid technical knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Interfaces, APIs, and Open Interfaces.
• Experience analyzing application logs, troubleshooting technical issues, and partnering with development teams to resolve defects.
• Demonstrated success supporting enhancement, upgrade, transformation, and production support engagements.
• Experience participating in or leading at least 2-3 full lifecycle Oracle Finance implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CA, or Oracle Certifications are preferred.
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day operational support in a fast‑paced environment.
