Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Tasks include writing PL/SQL scripts, configuring modules, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong SQL/PL-SQL skills and deep knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture.

Key duties cover development, integration, support, system administration, testing, and documentation to ensure client needs are met and data integrity is maintained.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, AME, with Oracle EBS knowledge.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and OAF.
• Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, CLM.
• Deep understanding of LOA configuration.
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x schema and querying.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
• Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems, often using tools like XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
• System administration: Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
