Job summary

Cvent seeks a Principal Business Analyst with strong Oracle EBS expertise to support core finance operations, including GL, consolidations, revenue recognition, AR and AP. The role partners with Finance and IT to drive efficiency, automation, and AI-enabled insights while maintaining GAAP compliance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EBS-related finance roles, Excel mastery, and a proven track record in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in EBS functional analyst, GL accountant, or similar finance role.
• Hands-on Oracle EBS experience (GL, AR, AP; other modules a plus).
• Strong Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Excellent communication with finance and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze general ledger activity with accuracy and compliance.
• Support period-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis.
• Lead consolidations, intercompany eliminations within Oracle EBS.
• Oversee revenue recognition aligned with standards and policies.
• Collaborate on AR/AP processes and seamless invoice processing in EBS.
• Develop and optimize monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and analysis.
• Drive system improvements, automate processes, and support integrations.
• Lead AI-enabled finance initiatives like anomaly detection and forecasting.
