Job summary

Technologent is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to maintain enterprise Oracle environments in Phoenix, AZ. The role emphasizes high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and architecture.

You will manage Oracle RAC, perform tuning, backup/recovery, Data Guard, and GoldenGate replication, while collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, scalable database solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
7+ years of experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on experience managing Oracle RAC environments.
Extensive experience with Oracle SQL performance tuning and optimization.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Oracle RAC environments for high availability and stability.
Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle database performance and optimize where needed.
Perform SQL performance analysis using Oracle tuning tools and advisors.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard environments.
Manage GoldenGate replication and troubleshoot replication issues.
Design scalable database architectures with performance and availability in mind.
Support migrations, upgrades, maintenance, and production deployments.
