Job summary

Meridian Technology Group seeks a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead architecture, administration, and optimization of enterprise Oracle environments across OCI, AWS, and on‑premises. You will drive performance, security, and reliability in a hybrid landscape and partner with security, governance, and development teams to modernize operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with RAC, Data Guard, and multi-tenant databases, plus a strong scripting background.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on enterprise Oracle database administration experience.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL proficiency and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases across OCI, AWS, and on‑prem environments.
• Administer RAC, CDB/PDB, and Data Guard configurations to ensure uptime.
• Implement security, backups, DR, and high availability in hybrid setups.
• Design and optimize cloud/hybrid deployments and connectivity (OCI, AWS, VPN/Direct Connect).
• Collaborate with security, governance, and development teams to enable automation and CI/CD.
