Texas Workforce Commission in Austin, TX is seeking an Oracle Database Engineer to perform senior-level analysis, design, and modernization of enterprise data systems. You will architect, implement, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL code, and lead the development of ETL pipelines using Informatica IICS.

This role requires strong skills in data modeling, performance tuning, and collaboration across IT and business teams. On-site work at 101 E.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time experience in programming, systems analysis, or program analysis.
• Experience with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience converting legacy ETL solutions to modern ETL implementations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain complex backend database systems using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Engineer and optimize ETL pipelines with Informatica IICS.
• Translate requirements into scalable database designs and specifications.
• Perform query optimization and index management in an Oracle EDW environment.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams for integration with reporting tools.
• Document architectures, data flows, and codebases clearly.
