Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation seeks a Database Engineer 3 to support a government client in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on database design, development and deployment across cloud-enabled architectures with emphasis on data flow, storage, and performance.

You will create and optimize complex queries, scripts, and schemas to fit evolving system needs. The position requires extensive Oracle experience and DoD 8570.01-M IAT II compliance, with a TS/SCI clearance expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Ten (10) years’ DBE experience is required.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II compliance is required.
• Experience with Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Data Guard.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• Develops relational and/or OO databases and related software.
• Plans long-range requirements for database administration and design.
• Develops database structures fitting the overall system architecture with considerations for volume, users, security and performance.
• Works primarily at the front end of the lifecycle from requirements through IOC.
• Translates requirements into usable documents via ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updates and creates queries to manipulate data.
