Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Senior Database Developer in Annapolis Junction to design, implement, and optimize database-driven applications using Oracle PL/SQL and RESTful APIs. The role involves front‑end components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and leading data migration projects.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years with a relevant degree or 10+ years of experience, plus experience with ORDS, Tomcat, and Unix administration.

Qualifications

6+ years’ experience with a relevant bachelor’s degree OR 10+ years of experience.
3 years of consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.
Write efficient queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build and support web‑based applications.
Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
Document technical designs, processes, and workflows.
