Citi in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA and Database Developer to oversee performance, upgrades, and lifecycle management across Oracle and other databases. The role emphasizes AI-assisted diagnostics, automated maintenance, and cross-functional incident leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years IT experience with 8+ years Oracle DBA/DB development.
Expert in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, performance tuning, and upgrades (19c).
Experience with AI-assisted SQL/PL/SQL, automated diagnostics, and incident RCA.

Responsibilities

Monitor database health, availability, performance; optimize queries and storage.
Resolve production DB issues; coordinate with Oracle Support; AI-assisted triage.
Manage DB instances, schemas, tablespaces, users, and privileges.
Plan upgrades, migrations, DR testing, and backup validation.
Automate monitoring, maintenance tasks, and CI/CD workflows.
