Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Database Administrator Specialist in the United States. The role focuses on leading technical activities across multiple business units, designing security and architectural models, and delivering stable, scalable IT solutions that align with governance standards.

The position requires strong IT process knowledge, excellent communication, and ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• At least 14 years of IT industry experience.
• At least 10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• U.S. export-controlled information access requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Lead project technical activities across multiple organizations.
• Design security and architectural models for complex projects.
• Translate business needs into actionable IT/data governance deliverables.
• Define standards for database and application architecture.
• Migration of Eaton environments to the Cloud (OCI/Azure).
• Implement security and compliance controls (STIGS, GDPR, SOX).
• Lead data architecture for complex data integration and solutions.
• Capacity planning for cloud migrations.
• Disaster recovery and high-availability design.
