Job summary

DMI, LLC is seeking a Database Specialist, Level III to design, secure, backup, recover, and optimize Oracle databases underpinning a federal regulatory submission platform. The role partners with government data center and cloud teams on configuration, administration, tuning, and migrations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of database administration experience, including 5+ years administering Oracle in production environments, plus a BS in CS or a related technical field.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of database administration experience, including 5+ years administering Oracle databases in production.
• Experience with backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Experience collaborating with government data center and cloud teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Oracle database environment, including backups and recoveries.
• Collaborate with government data center and cloud DBAs and system engineers.
• Conduct biannual performance tuning for server capacity and network performance.
• Develop upgrade and migration plans and data models.
