Job summary

Concept Plus is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the Oracle data architecture for a cloud-native data platform supporting mission-focused applications. You will design and own database schemas, data models, and data standards to ensure secure, reliable data products for Phoenix and related efforts.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering and a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, strong Oracle expertise, and hands-on experience with ETL, SQL, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering, Oracle database development, data architecture, or database management.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database technologies.
• Experience designing, implementing, and owning data models, schemas, tables, and references for enterprise Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, stored procedures, packages, partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data governance, and data lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with ETL, data transformation, and validation for large-scale systems.
• Experience with secure, scalable Oracle database solutions, including RBAC, encryption, auditing, backup/recovery.
• Automation skills with shell scripting or Python for DB admin and deployment.
• Experience with CDC technologies like Oracle GoldenGate.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, cloud/ security engineers, and analysts to translate mission needs into durable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own Oracle data architecture, schemas, and data standards for mission-ready data products.
• Develop secure, scalable Oracle database solutions with proper access controls and data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into durable data solutions.
• Define data standards, naming conventions, data quality controls, and retention requirements.
• Support ETL design and data validation for large-scale systems.
• Contribute to Oracle GoldenGate or similar CDC/data integration efforts.
