Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Oracle Data Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects and data integrations. You will lead data migration tasks and collaborate with Data Architects and DBAs on performance and standards.

The role requires 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development, experience with Toa d/SQL Developer, and vendor/COTS integration expertise. Strong problem-solving and independent judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• 8+ years with Oracle development tools (Toad, SQL Developer).
• 8+ years designing and maintaining Oracle objects.
• Experience in data modeling and normalization.
• Experience with data analysis, data quality, and metadata management.
• Experience building and integrating SOAP/REST web services.
• Experience with data migration/conversion and vendor-hosted/COTS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers, constraints).
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions to support business logic and ETL.
• Support data modeling activities including normalization.
• Lead data migration and data conversion tasks for new implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and consume SOAP/REST web services for data integrations.
• Analyze data and metadata for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate on performance tuning and code reviews with DBAs and architects.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical design sessions.
