Job summary

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University seeks a Lead Programmer Analyst / Lead Oracle Developer to design and implement Oracle Cloud integrations (ERP/SCM/HCM) via OIC, connecting cloud apps with on-premise and third-party systems. The role includes building APIs, tuning performance, and supporting BI/reporting through OTBI, Tableau, and BI Publisher.

Candidates should have strong SQL, data modeling, and experience with OCI and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field with 5+ years in software development.
• 3+ years with Oracle SaaS modules and hands-on OIC development/administration.
• 3+ years of REST API, SOAP, FBDI, PL/SQL and Oracle Cloud‑delivered web services.
• 2+ years of developing integrations using Oracle OIC.
• End-to-end OIC implementation experience on at least one Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS project.
• Experience interfacing Oracle Cloud/ERP with 3rd party systems and OCI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Oracle Cloud integrations on OIC using REST/SOAP and file-based adapters.
• Develop integrations between Oracle Cloud apps and on-premise/3rd party systems.
• Create Webservices/APIs for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions using OIC.
