Job summary

ExpediteInfoTech, Inc. in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to modernize and migrate legacy Oracle Forms to Oracle APEX, using Oracle APEX & 19c+ and integrating with Office 365 tools.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience (5-7 years) in Oracle application development using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database 19c or higher.
• Ability to integrate Oracle APEX applications with MS Office 365 products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Incorporate AI-driven engineering practices throughout development and modernization activities.
• Experience using AI technologies like GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Incorporate Single Sign-On
• Experience participating on project teams.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Problem solving skills and effective interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and improve the current systems using the Oracle APEX technology stack.
• Complete modernization and migration of all Legacy Oracle Forms Applications to APEX
• Improve overall system performance, supportability, reliability and availability.
• Use best practices for development and implement software packages, templates, etc.
• Use fully automated GitHub-based DevSecOps processes for Oracle APEX applications to ensure consistent deployments, daily backups, automated repository maintenance, and improved traceability.
• Implement automated, continuous security scanning processes for APEX applications, APIs, and cloud-hosted assets to meet FISMA, NIST, and ARS requirements.
• Develop API end points for internal/external agency consumption based on use cases.
• Automate Section 508 compliance validation for all modules to ensure conformance with WCAG 2.0/2.1 A & AA, and all requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in a Technical Discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent in applicable experience
