Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences IT team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and support Oracle APEX applications and services. You will participate in architecture discussions, implement RESTful integrations, and contribute to modernization efforts.

Applicants should have 5+ years of professional software development experience with Oracle, APEX, SQL/PLSQL, and web technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Experience with Oracle, APEX, and web app development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support Oracle APEX applications and database objects.
• Lead architectural discussions to improve scalability and security.
• Develop integrations using RESTful APIs and Oracle REST Data Services.
• Participate in Agile processes including backlog refinement, sprints, and retrospectives.
• Provide documentation and mentoring to teammates.
