CGS is hiring a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support various IT services, including software application support, enterprise infrastructure, service desk, ITSM, deskside support, workstation engineering and maintenance, telecommunications and mobility engineering, managed print services, Active Directory, and video conferencing. The ideal candidate will be personable, articulate, and customer-focused, ensuring needs are met swiftly and effectively. The candidate should be a self-starter capable of working independently. Excellent communication skills are essential for interfacing with customers and translating requirements into actionable solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using Oracle APEX
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle APEX 4.0 and above
• Experience with Oracle IDEs like Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
• Design and manipulate web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Create dynamic reports within Oracle APEX and support Oracle Database products v11+
• Support Oracle database objects: tables, indexes, directories, sequences, triggers
• Proficiency with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting
• Manage unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle
• Integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services
• Deliver enterprise workflow applications
• Automate business processes through logical functions and algorithms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent experience with additional certifications
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a public trust clearance
• Experience with secure network programming in Oracle environment
• Experience with Oracle APEX, IDEs, JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, Unix scripting
• Experience handling unstructured data in Oracle
• Ability to meet project goals, maintain documentation, and work collaboratively
• Agile development experience and customer interface skills

Ideally, candidates will also have experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, government contracting, and hold a current DOJ clearance.
