Job summary

McGraw Hill is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs and Oracle-based systems. You will lead requirements workshops, translate business demands into functional and technical designs, and collaborate with leadership to define strategic IT solutions across a global organization.

With 5–6 years of Oracle BA experience and hands-on Oracle EBS/R12, you will guide end-to-end implementations, integrations, and BI/reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years as a Technical Business Analyst in Oracle, leading requirements and workshops.
• Translate business requirements into Functional and Technical Design Documents.
• Experience aligning technology strategy with business goals in large global organizations.
• 2+ years supporting and managing Oracle EBS (R12 preferred, 11i acceptable).
• 2+ end-to-end implementations of Oracle SaaS Fusion Cloud or Oracle EBS R12.
• Functional Depth across Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, FA, Expenses, Tax, F&A Hub, Intercompany, Lease, Revenue, and Subledger Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse & Design: conduct in-depth reviews of business and IT processes and produce design documents.
• Problem Solve at the Root: identify root causes and deliver best-practice solutions.
• Partner with Leadership: surface strategic needs and define high-level requirements.
• Keep Projects on Track: flag risks and issues to project managers.
• Optimize Oracle Systems: provide Oracle best practices, manage upgrades and defects.
• Build AI-Powered Extensions: develop AI-enabled solutions using Oracle tools.
• Report & Communicate: present reports on system performance to stakeholders.
