Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Senior or Principal Radar Systems Engineer in Orem, UT, with hands-on radar systems expertise for development, testing, and scaling of advanced radar systems. The role is hybrid/remote, with a compensation package including base salary and equity.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or related field
• 6–10+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Hands-on radar systems experience including signal processing and system-level engineering

Requirements

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics or similar fields
• At least 6-10+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Proven experience working with radar systems: Development, production, and real-world use
• Hands-on experience with: Radar data analysis; Interpreting system outputs and test results or similar
• Experience with testing, verification, and validation workflows
• Strong experience and/or understanding of radar signal processing or Radar systems
• Deep system-level understanding of radar systems (beyond components)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-scaling, high-impact environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with radar algorithms and/or tracker development
• Exposure to FMCW radar systems (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave)
• Experience working across multiple engineering domains: Algorithm, embedded, and mechanical teams

Background interfacing with some of the following areas would be a plus:

• Antennas
• RF systems
• Embedded systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
