Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/optical engineering or related field with substantial experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application and within scope.
• Experience in opto-mechanical design, analysis, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to mechanical design of optical assemblies, mounts, and structures.
• Perform STOP and SILOS analyses to verify performance under environmental conditions.
• Develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings with documentation.
• Collaborate with optical, systems, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
• Support environmental test planning, execution, and correlation with analysis.
