Job summary

Oakley, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Optician to educate and elevate customer performance while driving sales in our retail environment in Vacaville, CA. You will act as an ambassador, deliver excellent service, and ensure customers receive the highest performance from our optical products and services.

As a store leader, you will share knowledge with the team, grow the business through Rx expansion, and foster an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• 1+ years of retail sales experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand most of the day and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates an exceptional customer experience with urgency in service.
• Demonstrates superior product knowledge and describes lens/frame features.
• Leads optical operations and partners with Store Management on Rx growth.
• Fosters a learning environment so the team becomes product experts.
• Engages the local community to attract new customers.
• Resolves issues promptly and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Supports daily Retail Operations and follows policies.
• Maintains store appearance and layout changes.
• Performs additional duties as needed and promotes inclusive culture.
