Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years in optical communications, photonic systems, or related leadership roles.
• Experience in system-level optical architecture, validation, manufacturing scale-up.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for fiberoptic components, OCS architecture, and system tradeoffs.
• Drive validation and characterization strategy for OCS subsystems and assemblies.
• Support test development, automation, and data analysis to improve results.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for cross-disciplinary issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for design reviews, NPI, and ramp.
• Translate system needs into actionable technical recommendations and plans.
