Job summary

Credo is seeking Principal Optical Module Application Engineers to drive customer-facing technical engagements for Zero-Flap optical modules. You will bridge Credo and customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize module performance in complex systems.

The role requires deep optical module expertise, system-level knowledge, and strong communication to translate customer issues into engineering tasks. You will lead on-site engagements, build representative test environments, and deliver

Qualifications

• Strong system-level knowledge of optical modules and customer environments.
• Proven ability to drive data-based root-cause investigations and design experiments.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support customer-site troubleshooting across electrical, optical, firmware, and interoperability issues.
• Learn and analyze customer use cases including system hardware and firmware behavior.
• Build automation infrastructure and test environments representing real customer systems.
• Develop test scripts and automated evaluation flows for module performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to root-cause issues and drive resolution.
• Collect and interpret engineering data across domains to identify improvements.
• Prepare customer-facing technical reports with performance summaries and actions.
• Lead on-site technical engagements with customers and align on test plans.
