Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with extensive work experience in optics and imaging.
• Strong background in optical design, metrology, and alignment concepts.
• Experience with high-NA optics and diffraction-limited systems desirable.
• Proficiency using Code V or Zemax, Matlab or Python for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the optical design of subsystems to meet BBP roadmap needs.
• Translate system requirements into optical, mechanical and metrology specs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize performance and cost.
• Develop optical metrology and alignment concepts to achieve targets.
