Job summary
KLA Milpitas, CA is seeking a Sr. Systems Design Engineer for optics, opto-mechanics, and motion control systems. Qualifications
- Experience with optical imaging systems and motion control.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills for complex systems.
- Experience with image processing or signal/imaging processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication to share technical information with cross-functional teams and management.
Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and develop requirement specs and test plans in collaboration with marketing and engineering.
- Review designs with functional groups and ensure alignment across teams.
- Create and execute test plans; analyze results and validate system performance.
- Lead troubleshooting and support customers to optimize tool performance in manufacturing and field.
