Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) seeks a Senior ORION Optic/Laser Alignment Spacecraft Technician to support 2nd shift at Kennedy Space Center, FL. You will perform precision laser alignment and tracking model functions, and construct developmental assemblies from schematics and blueprints for production units.

The role requires a high school diploma with technical training or an Associate degree and 5+ years of related experience, plus hands-on work with SA Spatial analyzers and FARO Leica

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with add'l specialized technical training equivalent to an Associate degree.
• 5+ years of experience in the field or closely related technical tasks.
• Experience with SA Spatial analyzers and FARO Leica laser trackers required.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision laser alignment and laser tracking model functions.
• Assemble developmental or preproduction electronic/electro-mechanical components from schematics/blueprints.
• Use standard electronic assembly tools and perform modifications, rework, and testing.
