Designs the overall scope and sets up the initial structure for medium to large cross-functional teams; actively supports more junior team members in creating materials and facilitating successful cross-functional meetings.

  • Change Enablement Driver: Actively takes independent initiative to address key operational or team challenges, manage multiple operational projects or a complex operational project with little to no support, and actively direct efforts of more junior and senior Op team members as well as cross-functional partners to achieve aggressive deadlines.

  • Cross-Functional (XFN) Management: Build and sustain strong XFN relationships and serve as the operational liaison with major partners to proactively push projects forward.

  • Risk Mitigation: Triage and resolve complex project roadblocks, escalating high-stakes risks and challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in business operations, management consulting, program management, or related field, preferably within healthcare or high-growth tech environments.

  • Ability to set up the broader strategic and business context for others while also maintaining a grasp of key details; can successfully negotiate competing tensions and identify a clear pathway forward.

  • Actively takes independent initiative to address key operational or team challenges, manage multiple operational projects or a complex operational project with little to no support, and actively direct efforts of more junior and senior Op team members as well as cross-functional partners to achieve aggressive deadlines.

  • Communication: Demonstrated proficiency in complex stakeholder management and an ability to push for tradeoffs in prioritization when needed to maintain project scope and timelines.

  • Tool Expertise: Fluent in multiple systems and has a clear perspective on the best way to deploy them/upskill others on their use in order to improve overall team productivity. Mastery of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) for complex resource and dependency tracking.
