Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions seeks a senior OPIR scientist to lead architecture and development of OPIR-focused software capabilities in a 100% onsite Dayton, OH role. You will guide TPED activities, review technical deliverables, and ensure operationally relevant solutions for national security missions.

The position requires TS/SCI with CI poly, 13+ years of relevant experience or 15 years with BA/BS, plus 5+ years in OPIR data systems and 10+ years in software engineering for DoD/IC missions.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance (will need to obtain CI Poly)
• MA/MS degree or BA/BS degree with related experience
• 13 years of experience with MA/MS or 15 years with BA/BS
• Minimum 5 years experience with OPIR data systems
• 10+ years software/system engineering in DoD/IC mission systems

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level expertise to guide architecture, design, and implementation of OPIR software systems.
• Assess system design documents and UI prototypes for operational OPIR missions.
• Participate in sprint reviews, TIMs, and design reviews focused on OPIR integration.
• Support government stakeholders by validating contractor performance against OPIR objectives.
• Ensure software capabilities align with OPIR requirements.
• Implement machine learning models and Python for automated data processing.
• Build and deploy web-based applications to support intelligence workflows.
• Brief leadership on technical findings and analyses.
• Design and manage databases for intelligence data storage and retrieval.
• Conduct instrumentation analysis to validate sensor performance.
• Leverage weapon systems knowledge for threat assessment.
