Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions is seeking a Senior Remote Sensing OPIR Engineer to support NASIC mission areas involving infrared sensing, space-based missile warning systems, sensor modeling, advanced data exploitation, and algorithm development. Dayton, OH, 100% onsite.

This role requires a strong background in EO/IR systems engineering, OPIR data analysis, and software development for sensor exploitation, with collaboration across government, industry, and research partners on next-generation

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• 12+ years in EO/IR, OPIR, or related mission areas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, exploit, and model infrared and OPIR sensor data including SBIRS data.
• Develop and prototype advanced data-processing algorithms in Python, MATLAB, and similar environments.
• Address sensor phenomenology and design test plans and experiments for detection/tracking challenges.
• Evaluate data-processing workflows, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate remediation.
• Support CONOPS, white papers, and transition plans for new sensing architectures.
• Collaborate with DoD, IC and research partners to evaluate and integrate sensing technologies.
