Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions in Dayton, Ohio seeks an OPIR Scientist with senior-level expertise to lead OPIR software design, development, and fielding. You will guide architecture, review technical deliverables, and align solutions with mission requirements for OPIR sensing, data processing, analysis, and visualization.

The role requires implementing machine learning with Python, building mission-critical web applications, and briefing leadership on findings.

Qualifications

TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly possible)
BA or BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
13 years of experience with MA/MS or 15 years with BA/BS
Minimum 5 years with OPIR data systems, processing pipelines, exploitation workflows
10+ years in software/system engineering with DoD/IC mission systems

Responsibilities

Provide senior level expertise to guide architecture, design, and implementation of OPIR-relevant software systems.
Assess system design documents, UI prototypes, and software artifacts for operational OPIR missions.
Participate in sprint reviews and TIMs with focus on OPIR system integration and analytic effectiveness.
Support government stakeholders by validating contractor performance against OPIR objectives.
Ensure software capabilities align with OPIR requirements from OPIR communities.
Implement ML models and Python for automated data processing.
Build and deploy web-based applications to support intelligence workflows.
Analyze weapon system components and signatures using materials science familiarity.
Brief leadership on technical findings and assessments.
Design and manage databases for insurgent data storage and analysis.
