Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions is seeking a Remote Sensing OPIR Engineer to support NASIC mission areas involving infrared sensing, space-based missile warning, sensor modeling, and advanced data exploitation. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, six years of EO/IR/OPIR experience, strong software development skills (Python, MATLAB), and collaboration with government, industry, and research partners.

You will help develop CONOPS, test plans, and transition strategies for next‑generation sensing

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 6+ years of experience in EO/IR systems engineering, OPIR analysis, or related mission area.
• Experience with OPIR data formats, processing workflows, or SBIRS exploitation tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis, exploitation, and modeling of infrared and OPIR sensor data, including SBIRS data.
• Develop, prototype, and implement advanced data-processing algorithms using Python, MATLAB, and other analytical environments.
• Investigate sensor and target phenomenology and develop test plans, sensor-collection scenarios, and experiments.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot data-processing workflows, identify anomalies, and coordinate remediation strategies.
• Support CONOPS development, white papers, and technical documentation for sensing capabilities.
