Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior OPIR Research Engineer to support NGA in infrared sensing, space-based missile warning systems, data exploitation, and algorithm development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong EO/IR background and 10+ years of experience in algorithm development, OPIR data analysis, and remote-sensing software development, with TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer engineering, physics, CS)
• 10+ years EO/IR algorithm development experience
• Advanced EO/IR signal processing skills and AI/ML applications
• Experience with OPIR data formats and processing pipelines
• Advanced Python development skills

Responsibilities

• Prototype and develop OPIR data-processing algorithms.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot data-processing pipelines and address anomalies.
• Prepare white papers and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with DoD stakeholders and external partners.
