Job summary

EVERSANA is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison/Senior MSL in ophthalmology for the Northeast region. The role emphasizes retinal disease expertise, scientific exchange, and engagement with KOLs across health systems and medical societies.

The MSL will work within Clinical & Medical departments, collaborating with R&D and Commercial teams to support clinical trials and product strategies while ensuring compliant scientific interactions and education for payors and clinicians.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years MSL experience with at least 1 year in ophthalmology (Sr. MSL: 5 years pharma and 3 years ophthalmology)
Advanced scientific and clinical acumen with ability to present to payors and medical audiences
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Function as the primary medical point of contact in geographic area.
Maintain clinical and scientific expertise in ophthalmology, focusing on nAMD/wet AMD.
Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare providers and medical leadership.
Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, health systems, and professional societies.
Collaborate with Medical Affairs leadership to develop key opinion leaders and strategic engagement plans.
Travel frequently (up to ~70%) to support national and regional activities.
