Job summary

Duke Careers is seeking an Clinical Research Support professional to assist ophthalmology trial activities within a premier academic medical center. You will help with study documentation, protocol submissions, and SOPs, while coordinating IP logistics and participant eligibility per protocol.

You will recruit participants, prepare for monitoring visits, and maintain study records. Strong organizational and regulatory awareness will help you contribute to data tables, summaries, and team

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Completion of DOCR North Carolina Clinical Research Pre Apprenticeship program may substitute for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with study documentation, protocol submissions, and SOPs.
• Assist with managing investigational products (IP) logistics, inventory, and reordering.
• Recruit research participants and screen for eligibility per protocol.
• Prepare for study monitoring and audits; maintain participant-level documentation.
• Prepare tables, data visualizations, and lay summaries to communicate results.
