Qualifications

• Board-certified ophthalmologist with at least eight years of post-training experience.
• Experience managing a high-volume clinical and surgical caseload.
• Advanced cataract surgery expertise including femtosecond laser-assisted procedures.
• Experience performing MIGS and blepharoplasty, including functional upper-eyelid procedures.
• Experience with premium IOLs and refractive cataract surgery.
• Bilingual English and Spanish; strong communication and collaboration with staff.

Experienced Comprehensive Ophthalmologist / Cataract Surgeon
South Florida Eye Institute is seeking a seasoned, high-volume comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon to join our established practice just outside of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The successful candidate must be capable of independently assuming a busy clinical and surgical schedule from the outset.

Qualifications and Experience

• Board-certified ophthalmologist or Board eligible
• Demonstrated success managing a high-volume patient and surgical caseload
• Advanced cataract surgery expertise, including complex and femtosecond laser-assisted cataract procedures
• Consistently strong surgical outcomes and patient-satisfaction history
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and ability to collaborate with clinical staff
• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Medical retina experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with premium IOLs, refractive cataract surgery, and cosmetic blepharoplasty is also desirable.
